Asia Affinity Holdings, Ltd. (AAHL) was invited to participate in the Box4Kids event in Singapore last month. The event, organized by the Barrie Wells Trust, aims to create a safe and relaxing environment for children facing serious and often terminal health challenges, providing them with a VIP experience during the event.
Box4Kids offers much-deserved experiences to children, allowing them to enjoy quality time away from the day-to-day challenges of their illnesses. The event takes place in hospitality suites at leading sporting events and venue "Boxes" graciously offered by the donors, presenting an incredible opportunity for corporations to contribute to the cause.
"We are thrilled to be part of such a meaningful initiative that brings joy and unforgettable moments to children and their families who deserve it the most,” said AAHL Chairman & CEO Graham Clark. “We are delighted to be able to support the Barrie Wells Trust in helping make a positive impact in the communities we operate in, and participating in this event aligns perfectly with our commitment to community engagement and corporate social responsibility."
The Box4Kids initiative is the brainchild of Barrie Wells – a serial insurance entrepreneur and philanthropist who initially worked on the idea using his 'Box' at Anfield, the home of the Liverpool Football Club. The scheme has since expanded to include a growing number of Premier League Football Clubs and Jockey Clubs throughout the UK and the O2 Arena. This is the second time that Box4Kids has supported Singapore Aerospace.
